CBC Fresh Voice

This year, CBC held the second Fresh Voice competition. It's a nationwide contest that gives journalism students the chance to submit a one-page story pitch. If accepted, students get to present the story on air.

There were 236 entries and 17 winners were chosen. Concordia University took 5 of the 17. Naturally, the journalism department was ecstatic.
